Tuesday, October 03, 2006 Ugh. Ok, since last you left our portly hero, Fate has cast a blind eye on many injustaces in life. Having to go to work at 7 on a saturday morning, having the break lines in my car leak and therefore remove my cars breaking ablities, not having enough batteries or spiderwebs for halloween and no car to go pick up more, Loosing a $50 rebate, having to wake up at 5 so my dad can drive me to work, and having to get to bed early so that I can wake up early. Its been a misrable couple of days in Chrisland. To add insult to injury, i'm at work so early that there is only one other person in the building, and he is a big car guy. And of course he asks about my car (throwing in the little joke about how if you look up Dodge in a dictionary it says 'To Avoid') and comments on how I shouldn't have taken it to where I took it, and how his friends have a garage that would fix it up for a lot cheeper. On and on and on. The guy validates himself by talking (Remind you of any other friends I have?) and procedes to do so without thinking about what he is saying or how people will take it.posted by Chris at 3:43 AM |
