Hey kids. Its been a fantastic weekend, and I was requested to write about it, so here we go.

Today is just a lazy Sunday. I will probably just take my sweetie driving and relax most of the day.

Friday was a good day. I worked on my costume a bit and then afterwards went to my darlings cousins birthday party.

Ok, now Saturday was the day that made the weekend. No, the month.
So, I woke up at the crack of 11:00 and instantly started working on my costume with sister. The TV at noon had a creature double feature.
These started off with "Horror Express". This movie was a lot better than I expected from the title, and had Christopher Lee and Telly Savalas in it. It was about this creature that Christopher Lee goes to Siberia to dig out of the ice and bring back to England Via train. The creature gets loose and starts killing people. Standard story line sorta thing, right? But get this, It killed people by absorbing their memories through their eyes and thereby got smarter and smarter the more people it killed. Also the people it killed like this, it was able to bring back as zombies. It also ended up being from outerspace and being as old as the dinosaurs at least.
This movie ended and the mindless 'horror' narrators were doing their speal (which we where mostly ignoring), until we heard these fateful words, "One of the best horror movies of all time. "Night of the living dead"". Needless to say, the next few minutes where nothing but a blur of my sister and I trying to get a VHS tape and get it into the VCR to record this quintessential horror flick. If you have never seen this film, borrow it from me now that I own it. It is one of, if not the first flesh eating zombie film. [I know that's a funky sentence, deal with it] So, the last two hours of costume work revolved around the living dead walking and eating the living while trying to avoid fire.
We where finally done with my costume, and my sister in her free time had managed to finish her costume as well. We started collecting people and started on our way to Salem. About 20 minutes down the road my father called and told us that I had forgotten my mask (I'd forget my head if it wasn't bolted to my shoulders). He was kind enough to drive it out to us (and I so owe him now) in some bank parking lot off of I95.
Ok, so 20 minutes wasted and rains as let up as they where going to be, we continued towards our destination. We got there around 7ish and wandered until around 9:30. There where pirate carolers, a group of people dressed as penguins, a guy dressed as Steve Irwin, Some ghost busters walking around, and scores of other costume enthusiasts wandering the streets of Salem. Quite a fantastic time, and I think/hope everyone had a good time. Around 9:30 we where hungry so we went to the beer works there. A 35 minute wait and the experience of some creepy drunk zombie hitting on one of the 15 year olds with us later (he was drinking it through his mask with a straw), we where seated (with me in my mossy glory)[for the record, (1)I don't envy the person who had to clean up the pile of moss I left; (2)It is increadably difficult to eat and not spill stuff all over yourself, or have yourself spill all over your food, when you chest is half again as large and covered with moss that breaks up and falls off if you look at it too harshly]. Food was good, but rather uneventful.
Finished, left to walk back to the car. Stopped by the 'Samantha' Statue for pictures and the Army/Navy Store that they had there, and then where off to our cars. Once there I performed a strip down to my pollies for all that cared to look. I remained in my semi indecent state until I got home.
All where home, and all was good, except Dickie still wanted to go driving a bit (mind you that its now 1:00). So, I put on a jogging suit and went out with him. The next three hours where crazy and out of controll (exactly how the day celebrating halloween should end).
Our first destination was Hull. We drove a bit. Tried to figure out what was going on with this flapping noise (which ended up being matts Jacket hanging out of the car door). Ended up just going to the beach and watching the huge waves and the sea gulls and wondering why there where spot lights looking out into the ocean (we figure that its probably just so the people at the hotel can enjoy the view at night). Sped on down one way, got lost a bit, drove around, started coming back along the beach.
Around this point was where Dickie got pulled over for speeding. My first thoughts went to the sheath knife and the fake gun in his glove box. They asked for licence and registration and while we where waiting for them to come back, they started checking like we had thrown something out of the car. Then one of them came over and flashed Matt and I in the face with his light. Apparently this was to check responsiveness, but around this point, we realized that they where just dicking with us. They gave Dickie back his stuff and we started to leave. They immediately turned on their lights again, and we pulled over again. The cops rolled down the window and hollered 'slow down' at us while they sped by us. Dickie was a little freaked out by this but in the hotel up the street, we could see several other cop cars as well as someone running on foot. We didn't ask questions and just got out of there.
It still being only 2:45, we kept on driving and ended up in Milton. It was an adventure and we decided that Milton is mostly rich white people so what could be the harm in driving around at 3:00. What we didn't realize was the milton bordered Boston. More specifically, it bordered Mattapan, which we ended up in around 3:15 or so in the morning. It was quite odd because the surroundings turned from urban homes, to what appeared to be a strip of shops along a freeway very quickly. Before we even realized we where there, Dickie said "Hey look, a homeless person". So, as soon as we realized we where there, Dickie turned the car around and almost blew through a red light to get out of there. After this it was clearly obvious that Dickie was bothered so we went right home.

Well my bloggies that was my weekend. It was all sorts of fantastic and scary and it was a learning explerience over all. Hope you all have a fantastic Halloween, and I will see you when I do.

::I can't understand it. Its like 3:30 in the morning and we just pulled up next to a black woman driving while talking on her cell phone. Who would she be talking to at this hour?::

::Mattapan is Best::
