My dear sons of Adam and daughters of Eve, please be welcome and make yourselves comfortable. All we can offer for entertainment are stories, but I assume that shall be sufficient my loves.
I believe Tuesday is a good start, even though starting there begins with a thourough trouncing at trivia. It being valentines day did not improve the situation in a positive manner. Such things do not bother us anymore, because a lack of success and an equal darth of love seem to have become rather common place. The rest of the week, was rather comon with quite a bit of work, of both the school, and the industry varieties. The latter drives me more than the former, and as such, I am counting the days until it will be prevelent in the full time variety.
Thursday, I was invited by a generous friend of mine to see the movie "Date Movie" before its official release date. Very funny movie. A lot better than I expected. Some gross parts, but overall good. Better if you have seen the movies they make fun of. Parking near the common is absurd, but such are the trials and tribulations of driving in Boston.
Friday, began like most others. Getting to school at some ungodly hour (probably 8:00) and working on a lab project, which I have yet to write up. The day trudged along, and ended with a professor telling us that he couldn't help us build an antenna. That night started with picking up several friends, and going to eat at IHOP. Fantastic place, that brightens every mood, no matter when you visit (but more prevelent late at night). Afterwards we went to see "The ringer" at quincy center. Very funny movie, if you have no problem feeling like a piece of your soul died while watching it. After that we headed to a friends house to play poker, and oggle breasts in the unedited version of "40 year old Vergin". And it all ended with a prank call to Chuck, so it was a great day.
Saturday began around 1:00, when I picked up Matt and Dickie. We went comic book store hopping and I spent way more than I expected to. We went into Boston to eat at the poor house and oggle manly things at the Barracs. Afterwards, Dickie picked up his Axis and Allies game, and we played it until about 8. At this point, we picked up Hav and Jen and drove to Harvard Square. Had dinner at the John Harvards Brew house and then went to The Rocky Horror Picture Show. Thank god chuck wasn't there. I enjoyed myself. I can't really say the same for some of the others, but it was an experience, and thats what life is. On an ending note, Cab drivers at 3 in the morning are maniacs.
Sunday began lazy. I read some comics, did some work, and just hung out. Around 6:30 or so, I went to pick people up, and we went to see the new "Pink Panther" movie. It actually was much better than I had thought it was going to be. Afterwards I droped the girls off, and as I was dropping off Dickie, I realized that my car had 6 more miles until it had 100,000 miles on it. In lue of the occation, we drove around milton for a half hour, and celebrated by taking pictures of the odometer.
Monday, I went to have lunch with Steph. She has a way about her to bring up my failures and rub it in my face without even realizing it. Afterwards I came home and watched my new "Mirrormask" dvd with my sister. Now I'm taking a nap.
so, that was my life as of late in a nut shell. Keep your noses clean, and keep off the grass.
::....oh, I get it. Its a critique on the fact that Clive owen should have been Jame Bond, but didn't make it. Oh, how clever...::
