Hey all. Things are looking good for the last few days. I finnished reading HP:HBP in a little less than two days (a bit of a record for me) and That thing I had to go back to Newburryport for ended up much better than I was fearing. I also have been increasing my collection of monsters, and it now includes many deadites from The Evil Dead Movies.

Ok, so Back to the night when we picked up our Harry Potter books, it was an awesome night. We got to the bookstore at 7:00, and we sat around, collected our bet money, and passed around our book 6 predictions. At 8:00 festivities began. These included, a really quiet DVD of J.K. reading, Taking pictures nexted to a Harry Potter bill board, face painting, a Every flavor bean counting contest, a scavenger hunt, and a hang man game. I walked around and socialized with my fellow fans. We had a really good time talking with complete strangers about what we though about the previous books, and what was going to happen in the next one. Around 9:00, I put on the rest of my costume, and proceded to limp around the book store like a jack ass. But apparently, all of my 'effects' went accross well to the general public, because I won the cosume contest. It could have been that the woman who drew the Dark Mark on my arm was one of the judges, it could have been that my cane has a space for a conceled sword, or it could have been that I acted like I was at an AA meeting when I was explaining who I was and what my costume was of (Hi, I'm Chris... and I'm a Death eater. "Hi Chris"). Either way, I won a guift certificate, and had my photo taken by many many people. It was a good time.

The next day, we did not go paint balling as we had planned, but instead went to Dim Sum for Mike C.'s 21st B-day. We ate so much, but the bill didn't come to anything too bad (like $12 bucks a person, and Chuck actually [gasp] tried some things) Afterwards, we went to Jillians and watched the Baseball game. After that we went to the movies (See Wedding crashers below) and then went home. It was a fun day all in all. I hope Mike enjoyed it.

Since my last blog, I have seen two movies. One was the Wedding crashers. Exactly what I expected. A fun romp into the sex filled lives of Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson. A few funny points, and definitely some things that will never leave my mind even if I start using brillow to scour its surface of my toughts (I'm joking, nothing really that bad). The next movie was Charlie and the Chocolate factory. This movie was absolutely bat shit crazy. Everything looked amazing, and was so so funny. I definitely must own it.

So, thats a quick run down of my activities. There will be a test on in later this weekend. There will also be a Risk Game night over my house on sunday I think, so, come and enjoy. Anyway, I'll catch you all when I see you.
