Just sit right back and you'll hear a tale, a tale of a fateful trip. That started from this tropic port, aboard this tiny ship. The mate was a mighty sailin' man, the skipper brave and sure. Five passengers set sail that day, for a three hour tour, a three hour tour……… The weather started getting rough, the tiny ship was tossed. If not for the courage of the fearless crew, the Minnow would be lost; the Minnow would be lost. The ship took ground on the shore of this uncharted desert isle, with Gilligan, the Skipper too, the Millionaire, and his Wife, the Movie Star, the Professor and Mary Ann, here on Gilligan's Isle.
Anyway, I thought you would all appreciate that musical interlude, and I thought it would be a great segway into my adventures from last Sunday. It all began like most others, me waking up in a pile of cadaver pieces. I had forgotten about the limb fight from the night before. Putting my lack-luster attempt at joking aside, I.... well, actually, I don't remember what went on Sunday morning. Fast forward a bit, and I have picked up Chuck, and he, my sister and I are on our way to a Dresden Dolls concert. We got there like an hour earlier than doors opening, and I literaly got a parking space out in frount of the paradice. We then went to have dinner. After dinner I jumped up and down in the line for the show, because there was a guy on stilts and a women pretending to be a living statue

In line we were given little flags, and candy, and got to see all the colorful people. We then went inside, and my sister got big black X's on the backs of her hands. While walking in, Brian walked by, and I (Being the dork that I am) started getting all crazy excited. This excited was only increased when we arrived on the inside and a piece of the silvery shadows, turned out to be another living statue.

And much to my glee, the entire place was filled with lots of people going about their business entertaining the pre-show crowd

This was awesome, and the Dolls were walking around all over the place, so there wasn't too much time between my big dork episodes.
Before the show, the Bragade (For that is what the crew of actors, etc. that follows the Dolls is known as) put on a puppet show known as "The Death of Rasputin" where the puppets were real people. It was a hoot. Then the first act when on. It was a crazy hill billy sort of guy who said he was from new york (I didn't get his name), and invented all of his own instrements.
Here he is playing his Hornicator
And in this picture (off to the right there), is his percussion section, which he named "Sister Spinster"
After this man, and his Crazyness, Flutter Effect came on. They were awesome and crazy, but I guess we didn't feel like taking pictures of them. This picture I found on their website should cover who they are.
If it doesn't, heres another one.

So, that was all awesome, and I ducked out to buy a poster. Then came the main course..... A contortionest.... well, not quite, but he came on right before the dolls. He proceded to dislocate both of this sholders, fit his entire body through a tennis racket, and generaly be a laugh riot.
Then came on the dolls, and they were wonderfull

We appologize for not having any really good pictures of them. There was an anoying girls head in the way of most of our photos. If you want good ones, check HERE
After the show, Amanda and Brian were signing stuff, and I actually got to witness somone have her brests signed (I'm not talking about just the tops here, i'm talking she dedicated each one to a band member, and let them have a good time with it). After that, I had them both sign my poster, and then sign Nicoles Tick-Tack box.
Now comes to the only two sucky things about the night. (1)The camera ran out of juice before the signing, so I couldn't get my picture taken with Amanda and Brian (2)It turns out Boston City streets are cleaned promptly at midnight, and my car being parked on said street, aquired a ticket. Its ok, it was definitely worth it.
And that was my evening. It was a fun time. Next boston show will be on Halloween, I hope some of you would like to dress up and come.
On a completely different note, I passed all of my classes. The forces of anal retentive studiousness have triumphed again. HAHA.
Thats it. Its vacation for me. Give me a call, and we will have a good time (Why did I just get a flash back of reading off of a bathroom wall?) Anyway, see you all later.
