Hey there bloggies,

First and Formost
HAPPY BIRTHDAY MISSY

I should be studing for a midterm right now, but seaing as I am lazy and freaked out (because of the midterm, not because of anything else), I decided to spend my time with you fabulous people. There are a couple of stories that I want to put up, so lets see if we can remember them all.

First off, for all of my friends that are LOTR/&Harry Potter fans, I got to tell you about my Linear systems teacher. For all of you that don't, just skip to the next paragraph. At first, he seemed like a dick, but now I don't mind him too much (especaily since the work in his version of the class is like a million times easier than the other part). The first time he was talking about flipping waves, he descibed it in terms of Harry's Patrona, and how the antlers would come out of the wand first. Then he was explaining to us about noise filters. In this part, he took a sound clip, added static and noise to it, and then applied the filter to it. The clip he chose was a voice clip from the first trailer for the first LOTR movie. Then, today, he completely shocked me. He was passing out the midterm, and on the cover it said 'No Calculators'. Before he was done passing them out, one of the kids rased his hand and asked if we could use calculators. To this he replied "No, can't you read, ten points from Gryffindor", which of course sent me and the 3 other Harry Potter fans in class into giggles.

So, movie wise, I have been quite active (as always). I went to see Constintine with my Father and Sister. It was better than I expected, and I think it was a good mix of action, intreague, and commedy. None of the acting was particularly strong, but the story carried it anyway. When I came home, I saw "Sky Captain, and the world of tommorow". I was hoping that the people who sad it was bad just didn't appreciate the medium, but I have to aggree that it sucked. In all honesty, the only thing that really ruined it was Gwyneth Paltrow. The story was interesting (even though it didn't make too much sence), and the graphics weren't all that bad, and it had plenty of action in it (even though it was circa 1950 esk). Unfortunatly the disaster of the movie came back to Polly Perkens and her constant nagging, and bickering, and know-it-all. I would have been happier with her being stepped on in the first sceine.

I could have sworn that I had more to talk about, but I guess I don't. I'm still waiting for "A life Aquatic" to come to Quincy, and when it does, anyone who wants to go with me is welcome. I also want to see Kinsey, so speak up if you are interested.

Again Happy Birthday Missy, do well on your midterms.

I'll see you all during my spring break. Take care.
