Hey kids,

Your grand and glorious narator here with the weekly(ish) report. And, unless you are some religious nut that came here because you liked that song about scarlet Storms, I'm sure you know me, and that I am full of shit. Nothing much is going on. Just classes. Not that that isn't much mind you, its just not much to talk about. The closest I can come to saying something interesting is a story about my E.M. Fields class. Well .... First off, the material of the class is very difficult (for the non-acronym (sp?) enabled of you that is Electro Magnetic), but I have had worse before. The first week of the class (You know, that week of figuring out that you would have been better off staying at work even though you get paid sub par for being unimportant) the particular teacher for this class (here in refered to as "The Prof") was in washington. So we had a subsitute, who ended up being a very kind, grandfatherly old man, who knew the subject very well, and was a very good teacher. The first week with him was very good, and I understood much of what was going on. The first dark cloud of this story appeared when "The Prof" returned from Washington. He began as if this was the first day, and not the second week (which made the second week a bit of a write off). The next class he started out with a rousing 15 minute discussion about Aristotle and why we should learn as much as we can. A rather interesting speach, but one that I felt was unnecisary in an engineering class. Fault number two would have to be that he told us to always do the homework, but that it will be graded randomly (I mean collected randomly of course .... what type of nut would just randomly grade something? Oh, yea, maybe this guy .... I hope I never find out), and that we should be prepared to come up to the board and work out a problem from the homework (To the theatrical entertainment of "The Prof" and our peers) at his whim. Third and final strike would have to be his complete and total disregard for linearity in his board work. The man would jump around, and write at slants, and use the far corners of the board (which no one could see) for the critical pieces of information. I honestly was enraged by how casualy he disregarded most chalk board rules. I figured I would give him a week. Many head-aches later, I decided to switch into the night class. I checked with the grandfatherly old man (for he taught the night class) and he was glad to take more people into his class, and I went on tuesday, and actually felt enligtened. (On a side note, in the first week when "The Prof" was in washington, I had to relearn quite a bit of circuit theory to do the first homework. I didn't become exceptionaly good at it, but I was proficient. After his 'review class' I felt like the knowledge was spunged out of my head. If you have never had a teacher manage something like this, count yourself lucky, since it throws into question what you learned, and if you can ever learn it again) The Punchline of the joke is that many people in the class decided to switch out, which sent up a warning flag to the guidence counciler, who put a halt to all of the transfers, which is why I had to sit through "The Prof"'s attempt at being a better teacher in the span of one day and many complaint forms. For the record he wasn't as bad today, but it can also be said that he wasn't that good either. (I think the high point was when he had just derived a long and tedious formula, and then he looked at the book, and said "oh, all those pluses should be minuses, which sent him back in from the beginning). I have put too much emotional effort to completely give up trying to switch into the night class (even though I will have no joy in taking a class from 6 to 7:40 P.M. ), so right now I am stuck in the hiatus period where I am going to the night classes because (completely unexpectedly) I can learn something from them, as well as going to the day classes because I don't want him to spring some sort of pop quiz that will be crucial to my grade. Yes I am a gulable, ball less, sap (Yes, I know many of you have said that about me [not saying any names Missy]), but I am a student first and formost, and I have always been unable to do badly on purpose (Most of you have probably seen the logic ticks I get), so I'm stuck. Funny story eh? I know I laugh at myself a lot.

So, I have seen some movies lately ....

I saw the village and really liked it. It was very predictable (to me anyway), but it was an interesting trip. There wasn't anything gross or lude in it. Most of the scary stuff was because you had no idea what the monsters where and because you felt bad for one of the main charactors. I would recomend it to anyone who liked most of M.Nights' other movies.

I saw phantom of the Opera with the girls, and I really liked it. I thought that the actual opera was better, but the movie made more sence (because there are somethings that are just confusing when looked at from the back of an audience).

Well, thats really it. I have hung out with Chuck a few times, and Steph a few times, but mostly my life now is alone with my homework. I'm getting back into the swing of school and being constantly surrounded by young beautiful women ..... Anyway, I'll catch you all later.

::I just had an image in my head of Dr. Datta Treaking accross the archtic in her skirt and high heals ..... and then she fought a polar bear with her bear hands::
