Hey there kids,
Today I had an exciting day. Even though it began at 7:00AM, and ended sometime past midnight, it didn't seem like a long day at all. It was jam packed with so much stuff, that I know everything I write here, is not nearly everything. So, lets start out by saying, that I ate a pepperoini and cheese hot pocket for breakfast. It was delicious and warm, and you all know how much I love delicious and warm things =? . So, yea, I met up with Chuck at Wally-T at 7:30, and we proceded into Boston (Please excuse if this sounds fairy-tale-ish, but I just read Nicks post, and was so amazed by it, It is still spinning around in my head [yes like a top] ). So, yea, we got off at Downtown crossing, I used a public bathroom in a Micky-D's (didn't have to pay to unlock the door either because it was being cleaned woo-hoo [that is the strangest thing to get excited over] Shut up, you weren't there [in fact I was, you were just so amazed by the... ]) Ok, both of you, shut up....I'm telling a story here and if you don't like it, I have a lead pipe here that says "complaint solver" on it (ok, I'll be good) [same] Ok then. So, we showed up at governemnt Center at about 8:30 and joined the ever growing croud (at that time it was several hundread at least). We remained in this field until 1:00PM. During this 4.5 hour streatch the croud kept getting bigger and bigger, and we got packed in tighter and tighter until I couldn't move my arms. Among the crazyness that I saw, included, but is not limited to:
*People throwing paper airplanes, soda cans (with soda), a foot ball, and various other objects among the crowd;
*People bouncing balloons, confetti, silly string, and inflated condoms among the crowd;
*Many people crowd serfing and having their shoes and wallet taken as well as being felt up by random 'well wishers';
*A man pee into a Nestly Quick Bottle;
*Several fights break out;
*Several hot girls flash the crowd;
*The boston Police department cracking down on people and randomly arresting them and dragging them from the crowd to make an example of them (Including that girl Crystal who was the closest of the flashers to us);
*Several hot girls being raised above crowd and then making out together (well, they had to do something to get attention, and if showing there tits got them arrested, then whats a girl to do?);
*The ubiquitous smell of pot.
Well, the coolest drunken crowd act has to go to something that happened early on. Imagine if you will, someone tossed an opened can of bud light. It rotated in mid air spraying bystanders and then proceded down toward the crowd, still partialy full. A hand raised up out of the crowd, caught the can right side up in mid air, and then slowly lowered back into the crowd. It reminded me of that scene in "Excalabur" when they returned afor-named sword to the lady of the lake. Everything else was cool, but the later it got, the more tired people got, and the less fun it became. But, around this point, the Patriots showed up, and it got cool again. We made friends with the people that we were pressed up against and enjoyed the random drunken crowd that lead up to a 20 minute rally.
The only other really cool thing to note was the fact that there were millions of people. Honestly, Government center was filled with people, all tightly packed from building to building. No way out, no way to move, just standing there for hours hoping someone will do something stupid and get arrested [Nah Nah Nah Nah; Nah Nah Nah Nah; Hey hey hey....Goodbye!], or simply show us their tits. Definitely an experience that every human should experience at least once.
So, after the Patriots gave us the leave to go, and I got bored of people rubbing my ass (and me rubbing others asses), I headed toward NU to drop off a paper that was due at 3:00. I had to outsmart the crowd so that I got there within the 45 minutes I had left. So, I [being the T genious that I am] took the orange line from Haymarket. Yes, there were less people, but they were mosly drunk and/or high. I got to NU with 10 minutes to spare, and droped off the report [Yea me :) ]. I then used this mobility opertunity to streatch a bit, and to use the rest rooms (This was quite an important one. I almost considered peeing in a bottle at least once).
Well, feeling very accomplished that I had successfully not slacked on my school work, I decided to reward myself by taking a trip out to Lexington (More specificly Hanscom Air Force Base) [I got to disturb Elizabeth, and thats always a plus]. I had to get a form filled out by my employer, so I figured this was Ken. I got a chance to see a couple of the guys and get back to date on whats going on [I missed Bill by a few minutes though, and thats sad]. After the forms were all filled out I started heading home, and to make life more interesting, I decided to take the Lincoln Labs shuttle home and Get off at Harvard Sq. Took the Red Line home from here, but decided I didn't want to wait 20 minutes outside at NQ station, so I got off at Quincy center and took the Squantum bus from the beginning of the rought. I know, I got home at exactly the same time, but 1. I was sitting down, 2. It was warm, 3. There were no weird people, 4. I got to look out the window and see some sceneary, 5. I like the number five.
So, all in all, it was quite a crazy day. I hope you all enjoyed my thoughts on my adventures. If you would like to purchase a hard copy of todays show, please send $50 to me, and I will print out these sheets, and maybe staple them for you [If I'm in a good mood]. Well, thats all for now. Rock on kids.
::What? Do you want me to pull something random out of my hat? Well, I can't do it......because I don't have a hat!::
