Ok,
Today was good. Work was wicked fun. I spent quite a bit of the day talking about a hunter being raped by a bear in the woods. The rest of the day was spent on such random subjects as politics, women, toxic chemicals, and cake. My trip home was cold, and just magnified by the fact that I reached a part in A clash of Kings which is close enough to the end to have all sorts of dramatic things happening. But, the entire trip home was not just reading and cold. A few.....days....weeks...(I'm not really sure) ago I had picked up a book(one flew over the coo-coo's nest) someone(A school kid) left on the bus. A kid was on the bus and I asked him if it was his (yea, lets see there are how many kids that go to school on my bus, and the chances that he not only went to the same school but also the same class........BLAM) and it turned out that it was one of his classmates who lost it (Boo-ya, random acts of kindness). I hope he wasn't lying, but I gave it to him anyway, and forgot about it (He had another copy, so I'm prity sure he was on the level).
When I got home, I knew I had to try and return the RAM, but the first words out of my mouth were, "Did I get a package today?". And of course my loving mother said, "yes, you were expecting it?". "Yea, I ordered some CD's". "Oh, thats good, I saw the package said dolls on it, so I thought you bought one of those inflatable sex dolls". :Shutter: "No, the band is Called the Dresden Dolls". "Oh, good than this is definately yours"
So, yea, the excitement from getting a hand written package from a really awesome local band that contained 23 songs, a button, and definitely the coolest CD packaging I have ever seen, was enough to forgive my mother for the mental trama she was trying to impose upon my fragile self, and caused me to run up to my computer and listen to all the songs while reading the lyrics, and to write ungainly long and obnoxtious run on sentences that should probably be a paragraph, but I guess I decided I don't like periods, and that commas are more, I don't know, sexier, no, I guess thats not quite right, but you know what I mean, with the hook and the period thing.....Longest Sentence ever......
Sorry bout that. It got a bit out of controll. I guess I was just a bit excited. But, I sware that this will only be a normal five sentence paragraph. See, I told you.
So, yea, Dresden Dolls Kick ass. They are having a new years Mascarade, and I plan on trying to attend again, and probably failing, but hopefully not as badly this time. I think I'll be carrying the CD's with me for the next couple of days, so ask me and I will let you listen.
I'll be trying to go to circuit city tommorw, but we will have to see. I will also have to try and get a flu shot soon, as well as Buy tickets for the Office x-mas party. Nothing really major (Compared to the Dresden Dolls), but lots of stuff.
Oh, and still really looking forward to Chucks Talent show on Friday. Take care all.
