Hey Kids,
Today was my first day of school, and let me tell you, it was a good day. First of all it stared out with Linear algebra, which doesn't really look like anything too too hard(knock on wood). Next I had Circuits 2. This class was in a lecture hall, even though it shouldn't be. The teacher was talking all about imaginary numbers as they apply to circuit currents today, which, as it sounds, is a little over my head. Its ok, its only the first day, its not supposed to make sence yet. My next class was Discrete Math, which turned out to be mosly binary algibra (yawn). It seems like it should be an easy class. And last but not least I had my Circuits 2 LAB. They only talked about the rules and regs for the class today, so we got out early. I think I heard one of the TA's say that we only had lab every other week, and that the lab report is due in between when we have the labs, but you know how hard it is to understand anything a TA says. I wonder if it is part of the requirements on becomeing a TA to only speak minimal english, because it would make sense, since they all speak Chinese, or Russian, or Spanish, or Greek, or German. I think I have had one full fledged English speaking TA since I came to NU, and she was sorta goth. ...Well, anyway.... After the classes I went to buy my books. Two books, one Lab workbook, 6 folders and I nearly maxed out my credit card. I only have two more classes, so, over all it shouldn't be much more expensive. They always getcha with the damn books. I then came home and took a nap (I was sleepy :) ).
Well, that was my day. Exciting in its own respects, but not quite. The only things on the horizon look like I'm going to be going to the Aquarium with some friends (Yes, not the zoo; Mainly because my Mom said "Didn't they close down the Franklin Park Zoo for a while because there were too many shootings?") Eh.....
And with that I will continue listening to Irish Punk music while doing my linear algebra.
